SOX's Whistleblower Provision

Were you aware that the federal Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) includes a whistleblower protection provision?

SOX was enacted in 2002 following a number of accounting scandals involving such publicly-traded companies such as Tyco, Enron and WorldCom.

Section 806 of SOX is intended to protect covered employees from retaliatory acts.
